How much RAM does a Don't Starve Together server need?
DST is lightweight. Vanilla with 6 players runs fine on 4 GB. With Workshop mods and Caves enabled, use 6 GB. For 12+ players with heavy mods, 8 GB.
Do you support Steam Workshop mods?
Yes. Enter Workshop Mod IDs in the panel and they download and activate on restart. You can also configure mod settings via the panel.
Does your hosting support Caves?
Yes. We run a master + caves shard setup. You configure both shards from one panel view. Caves are enabled by default.
How many players can join?
The default DST server supports up to 6 players, but you can set it to up to 64 with mods. Performance stays good up to 20 players on 8 GB RAM.
Can I use a password for my server?
Yes. Set a server password in the panel settings so only invited friends can join.
