How to Host a SkyFactory 4 Server
Hosting SkyFactory 4 cleanly is less about some hidden command and more about doing the obvious things in the right order: enough RAM, a proper modpack flow, a clean first boot and backups before anyone pushes their automated island further than it's been tested.
Start with 5 GB unless this is a very small server — SkyFactory 4's own recommended floor.
Use a proper modpack import flow instead of guessing from a client export.
Watch the first boot logs until the server finishes loading on Forge 1.12.2 and the starter island generates cleanly.
Invite players only after the first clean startup.
Take a backup before world imports, updates or config changes — rebuilding an automated island from scratch is a bad night.
