How to Host a Seablock Server

Hosting Seablock: Rustic Waters cleanly is less about some hidden command and more about doing the obvious things in the right order: enough RAM, a proper modpack flow, a clean first boot and backups before anyone pushes a water-chemistry production line further than it's been tested.

1

Start with 7 GB unless this is a very small server — Seablock's own recommended floor.

2

Use a proper modpack import flow instead of guessing from a client export.

3

Watch the first boot logs until the server finishes loading on Forge 1.12.2 and the ocean starter platform generates cleanly.

4

Invite players only after the first clean startup.

5

Take a backup before world imports, updates or config changes — losing a water-chemistry automation line is a bad night.

Use a cleaner Seablock path

CoalHost is built around modpack hosting, which makes Seablock much less annoying to launch correctly.
