How to Host a Nomifactory Server
Nomifactory is the hardest tech pack in the catalog, which makes hosting it correctly from day one more important than usual: enough RAM, a proper modpack flow, a clean first boot and backups before anyone touches a production chain that took weeks to build.
Start with 8 GB unless this is a very small server — Nomifactory's own recommended floor.
Use a proper modpack import flow instead of guessing from a client export.
Watch the first boot logs until the server finishes loading on 1.12.2 and all GregTech content registers cleanly.
Invite players only after the first clean startup.
Take a backup before world imports, updates or config changes — losing a 60-step production chain is a very bad night.
