How to Host a MineColonies Server
Hosting MineColonies cleanly is less about some hidden command and more about doing the obvious things in the right order: enough RAM, a proper modpack flow, a clean first boot and backups before anyone grows a colony further than it's been tested.
Start with 6 GB unless this is a very small server — MineColonies' own recommended floor.
Use a proper modpack import flow instead of guessing from a client export.
Watch the first boot logs until the server finishes loading on NeoForge 1.21.1 and colony structures register cleanly.
Invite players only after the first clean startup.
Take a backup before world imports, updates or config changes — losing a hand-built walled city is a bad night.
Use a cleaner MineColonies path
CoalHost is built around modpack hosting, which makes MineColonies much less annoying to launch correctly.
