How to Host a Create: Astral Server
Hosting Create: Astral cleanly is less about some hidden command and more about doing the obvious things in the right order: enough RAM, a proper modpack flow, a clean first boot and backups before anyone pushes a contraption line further than it's been tested.
Start with 6 GB unless you already expect large contraption builds — Create: Astral's own recommended floor.
Use a proper modpack import flow instead of guessing from a client export.
Watch the first boot logs until the server finishes loading and Create's Fabric dependencies resolve.
Invite players only after the first clean startup.
Take a backup before world imports, Fabric updates or config changes — a broken contraption line is a bad night.
