How to Host a Create: Above and Beyond Server
Create: Above and Beyond is the pack that popularized Create-based modpack design, which makes hosting it correctly from day one more important than usual: enough RAM, a proper modpack flow, a clean first boot and backups before anyone pushes a contraption chain further than it's been tested.
Start with 6 GB unless this is a very small server — Create: Above and Beyond's own recommended floor.
Use a proper modpack import flow instead of guessing from a client export.
Watch the first boot logs until the server finishes loading on Forge 1.16.5 and Create's recipe overrides register cleanly.
Invite players only after the first clean startup.
Take a backup before world imports, updates or config changes — a broken contraption chain mid-progression is a bad night.
