How Much RAM Does a Security Point Server Need?

Security Point (see the Security Point pack page) is a Forge 1.20.1 military and faction-war roleplay pack, and its vehicle, firearm and fortification systems mean RAM needs scale faster than a plain survival Forge pack of the same size. Below are realistic tiers depending on faction size and how much combat is happening at once. Finnish players: Minecraft-palvelin hosting is our native-language page. German players: Minecraft-Server mieten covers the same hosting auf Deutsch. Svenska spelare: Hyra Minecraft-server täcker samma hosting på svenska.

3 GB

Bare minimum. Enough to boot Security Point and poke around solo or test the faction setup with one other player, but vehicle spawns and fortification-heavy areas will push it hard.

5 GB

Best starting point for most servers. This covers the firearms, vehicle and fortification registries comfortably for a small faction (roughly 2-6 players) without constant garbage-collection pauses.

7 GB

Safer for a mid-size active group running regular faction-war sessions, especially once multiple vehicles are deployed and fortifications are being built and fought over at the same time.

10 GB

For 10+ players or a long-running world with established factions, stockpiled equipment and persistent fortified bases — the extra headroom keeps PvP events from degrading the whole server.
