Modpacks/Boot test failing server hosting
SUPERIOR - RPG Server Hosting
A Forge RPG adventure pack on 1.20.1 — 326K downloads. SUPERIOR focuses on overhauled combat, leveling systems, and structured questing across a modded world with custom dungeons. Different from DarkRPG (Origins focus, Fabric) and DawnCraft (Souls-like difficulty): SUPERIOR targets a more accessible RPG progression with a clear quest chain and less punishing mechanics. A good middle ground for groups who want RPG systems without the steep learning curve of DawnCraft.

Most “does this modpack work on a server” answers are guesses. This one isn't: SUPERIOR - RPG is in our boot-tested catalog, which means we installed it end-to-end on a real VM, measured the RAM it actually needs, and recorded the mods that crash a dedicated server — then handled them automatically so your first boot doesn't hit the crashes we already found.

Common questions
How much RAM does a SUPERIOR - RPG server need?
We measured 6 GB as the boot floor on a real dedicated VM — not a guess. The signup flow pre-sizes to 6 GB so you can't accidentally under-provision.
Does SUPERIOR - RPG work on a dedicated server?
Careful — Our most recent boot test failed on 2026-10-09. The whole log, failures included, stays public on our /verified page while we work on it. The page stays up because the pack is installable and the log is public, but we are not calling it working right now.
What happens if it crashes anyway?
Every server gets automated backups plus a crash-analyzer that reads the actual log, matches it against known modpack failures and either applies the fix or restores the backup.
