Built around kingdom-building and conquest: players establish a settlement, level it up through quests, and expand by conquering neighboring kingdoms controlled by NPC factions. Combat, diplomacy, and resource management all feed into the kingdom progression loop. The series' third entry has the most refined AI factions and the most complete quest chain. Different from MineColonies packs (building focus) and Dungeons & Dragons packs (exploration focus): Ancient Kingdoms centers specifically on faction-based kingdom conflict.
