How to Host a Fabri's Frontiers Server

Start with 6 GB of RAM. That's the floor Fabri's Frontiers itself recommends once Terralith, Nullscape, and the pack's custom dimension generation are all running — the extra worldgen mods chew through memory faster than a vanilla-biome Fabric pack, so don't try to squeeze it onto a 4 GB plan and hope.

Install the modpack from a clean source instead of guessing from a client export. A host that imports Fabri's Frontiers directly — correct Fabric loader version, correct mod list, correct configs — avoids the broken dimension generation and missing dependency errors that come from copying a client's mods folder onto a server.

Watch the first boot all the way through. Fabri's Frontiers has to generate and register several custom dimensions on startup, and each one needs to initialize its mob ecosystem and environmental systems cleanly. Don't call the server ready until the log shows it finished loading without worldgen or mod-loading errors.

Only invite players after that first clean startup. If you open the server while dimension registration is still mid-way or throwing warnings, players can trigger chunk generation in a half-initialized dimension, which is a much harder mess to clean up than just waiting a few extra minutes.

Back up before importing a world, updating the Fabric loader, or changing world-gen configs. Dimensional unlocks are progression gates in this pack — losing a world to a bad update means a group loses every dimension they've already unlocked their way into, not just some items.
